10% Discount @ BeerSchool!!
Homebrew Korea has arranged a small gift just in time for Christmas to all our readers and forum contributors!! Any Homebrew Korea reader that mentions our site (homebrewkorea.com) when ordering from BeerSchool will receive a 10% discount on their purchase (due to website technical reasons, it must be a cash purchase via bank transfer).
When placing your order and are on the page where you enter your address, etc., the last text box says ”배송메시지”. This is where you need to enter “Homebrewkorea.com”, so they know who you are.
In the next few days I will post a pictorial to help show how to order from the BeerSchool website (for those whose Korean skills are a bit lacking).
Enjoy everyone!!! Happy Brewing from Homebrew Korea!!!
Edit: Quick how-to order on the BeerSchool Website. It’s a bit tricky if you don’t understand Korean. The hardest part is getting your postal code. You need to search for it by entering part of your address in Korean and then selecting the right one. For example, click the button and enter “분당”, search and then select your address. Don’t forget to enter “homebrewkorea.com”!!!

Is the discount still in effect? Tried to purchase today and entered in the website as described above, but the price wasn’t discounted… Also, do they send out automated confirmation e-mails? I’d hate to just wire money and then not receive anything.
The last screen shot has the details you are after. Just mention Homebrew Korea in the 배송메시지 text box and then minus 10% off the total and transfer that amount to their account. You MUST pay via bank transfer.
And yes, you’ll get a confirmation email.
I got the e-mail! Looks like I just needed to be more patient. Hehe.
Despite having mentioned the website in the correct location (exactly as mentioned above), I did not receive a discount. I think I will call the company tomorrow.
It doesn’t show up (as in the pcture above). You just minus the 10% from the total shown and transfer that amount. All emails won’t mention the discount.
Oh, really? Geez.. Thanks for help! I never would have guessed. I hope my bumbling helps the next guy
How do they handle shipping? If it’s pay on delivery they often don’t deliver because a foreigner answers the phone.
When you select items for your order, I’m pretty sure there is an item for delivery that costs around 2,500won or so. That will solve your worries (just don’t include that 2,500won in the discount). On the other hand, I have never had an issue with paying upon delivery.
