- Citra... - Sorachi Ace... - Green Bullet (I liked it for bittering, solid but not overpowering)
But especially Citra. I love that stuff. I love variety, but if we were limited to one high-alpha hop for the rest of our lives, CItra is the one I'd choose.
I kinda wish I had more chance to try new hops I haven't tried before, but since my beers are much less hoppy, I tend to be okay with what I can get around here, buy off people, order online, etc. Not that I would turn away greater variety being available here, though... not at all!
As for hops, I appreciate the offer, but I have so much of the stuff on hand at the moment I don't know what to do with it. People keep giving me hops and at the moment I have so much I'm thinking it might actually last me the year, even if I start making IPAs relatively often (like, once a month, which is often for me). That probably won't happen, but you never know! :)
I need cascade in mass quantities! Simcoe! Amarillo! MORE CITRA! I'd love to see nice fresh west-coast hops cheap here, but I have a hunch it ain't gonna happen. Appreciate the offer for hops if you have a friend coming, but any chance he could bring me a 55 pound bag of Maris Otter and another of crystal 120? Tell him to put it in his carry-on. :P
I got some Cascades available by the oz. Should have more by the end of the month. Also, Mt. Hood, Northern Brewer, Columbus and Summit. Hit me up. I'm in SeoDaeMun Seoul. We can meet up.
