Hey,

Just spent an evening sharing brew with a friend from work (and celebrating that my blood pressure was surprisingly lower than I expected at my checkup today; apparently being overworked agrees with me, or something), which ended with my sharing some of my "micro-IPA" experiment which I just put on tap. It's a bit undercarbed but with low-ABV that's not a bad thing at all -- it makes the beer more drinkable, in my opinion.

Anyway, the Sorachi Ace/Citra combo is badass when you late hop heavily in a 4.0% ABV session beer. (It was supposed to be 3.5% but my efficiency was better than expected.) The recipe is here:

http://hopville.com/recipe/1274078/american-ipa-recipes/aj-pi-mini-w-capped-mash

It's all approximate as this was from a partigyle -- the second/last runnings of a bigger IPA I plan on bringing to Daejeon if the dry-hopping comes out. I haven't even dry-hopped the micro-IPA but it's just excellent. Woo!

Now I have to go submit our Korea H.P. Lovecraft movie to a bunch of film festivals, which we can do pretty rapidly as everyone seems to use the same online submission service. Yay for the internet. Looking forward to seeing lots of you in Daejeon... and btw could someone invite me on Facebook? :)
